Structured Cabling
Cable and wire infrastructure is the backbone of the entire telecommunications architecture, supporting virtually all technology in today’s digital workplace. It must be designed within the framework of voice, video and data communications models and their resulting physical and logical network classes.
In addition to its critical role, cable infrastructure is expensive and permanent relative to other components of the technology environment. It is therefore crucial that indoor cable plant and outdoor cable plant design and implementation meets all current needs, and is sufficiently flexible to accommodate foreseen and unforeseen future capacity requirements.
